Antique Art Deco Mother of Pearl Vesley Dagger Sword Knife Letter Opener
A gorgeous and well made antique letter opener in the shape of a sword or dagger knife. It has a gold plated (over brass) handle with mother of pearl shell inlay and a subtle dot pattern border with a stainless steel blade. The blade is marked Vesly Solingen Germany. I believe it was likely made sometime in the Art Deco era- 1920's or earlier. Open your letters in style or display it as a cool piece of home decor!
It measures 9" long and 1.5" across the handle.
Condition: Some plating wear on the handle.
