Vintage stone scarab charm holder necklace

An antique brass Victorian era dog clasp holds a vintage gray stone scarab beetle charm. The back of the scarab has some hieroglyphs including one of a bird. This versitile necklace can be worn multiple ways (simply unclasp the dog clasp and remove the charm to switch it out for a charm of your choosing from your personal collection or add more to this one). It comes on a gold-filled chain that is finished with a gold-filled spring clasp and brass hexagon loop.

The scarab is a symbol of rebirth, transformation and protection.

The scarab charm measures .5" tall and .5" across (or 1.5" tall including the dog clasp). The chain is 18" long.

Condition: patina and a couple small dings on the dog clasp.
