Antique Victorian Gold Filled Black Glass Leaf Brooch Pin

A charming antique Victorian era gold-filled brooch in the shape of a leaf. It is set with sparkly black glass marquis shaped stones. It has a locking pin back (which was replaced at some point and modernized as it would have originally had a c-clasp). It is possible that it was originally worn as a piece of mourning jewelry.

It measures 1.75" tall and .75" across.

Condition: The pin back was repaired near the hinge at some point and the clasp was replaced with a more modern one (it would have originally had a c-clasp). There is a small hole in the setting on the top of one of the stones. A few very minor flea bite chips to the glass stones. Slight verdigris patina around the settings on some of the leaves.
