Antique gold filled navy mechanical pencil necklace functional jewelry

An antique Victorian era gold filled mechanical pencil with a dark navy blue body. It comes on a long gold-filled chain that is finished with a gold-filled spring clasp and brass hexagon loop.

The pencil measures 3.75" long and .25" across. The chain is 34" long.

Condition: Some metal wear on the gold-fill by the tip of the pencil in one area and a small spot near the bail. It is out of pencil lead (just a small piece left) so you would have to replace the lead if you would like it to be functional. I have not tested it's functionality but believe you would load new lead in through the tip.
