Serpentine cast figa hand charm necklace
Serpentine Handmade Hand Carved Lost Wax Cast Mano Figa Hand Charm Necklace Talisman Jewelry
This necklace is part of Serpentine's collection of original jewelry designs which were first lovingly hand carved from wax then cast locally in metal. Featuring a hand charm that is gesturing with the thumb between the first two fingers. It has a detailed cuff and beaded bracelet and is set with an oval shaped rainbow moonstone cabochon as a ring. The brass charm is on a gold-filled chain and is finished with a gold-filled spring clasp and brass hexagon loop. The sterling silver charm is on a sterling silver chain and is finished with a silver spring clasp and brass hexagon loop.
Once seen as a slightly obscene gesture, the mano (hand) figa (fig) has also been used like an evil eye as a symbol of protection or good luck.
Rainbow moonstone is a stone of new beginnings offering serenity and strength.
Available in brass or sterling silver.
The charm measures 1.5" long and .5" across. The chain is 18" long.
