Vintage Rolled Gold Plated Mechanical Pencil Necklace Functional Jewelry

This necklace was handmade using a combination of new and vintage materials. It features a sleek vintage rolled gold plated mechanical pencil by Cross. If you twist the tip you'll be able to extend the pencil lead. This one is currently empty so you'll need to refill it with lead in order for it to be functional again (I believe you load the lead through the tip). The tip of the pencil is marked Cross 1/30 10kt rgp made in USA. I believe the pencil was likely made around the 1950's. It comes on a new long gold-filled chain that is finished with an antiqued brass (over copper) lobster clasp and a brass hexagon loop.

The pencil measures 3.5" long. The chain is 33.5" long.
