Antique Victorian Opal Slide Watch Chain Charm Holder Necklace

A versatile antique Victorian era extra long watch chain necklace with a gold-filled opal and seed pearl slide and a gold-filled dog clip. This piece can be worn in several ways- you could loop it around twice and use the dog clip to hold your favorite charms or locket. Or you could double the strands up and use the dog clip to attach the ends together.

The chain measures 46" long.

Condition: The slide is missing one seed pearl and doesn't have a whole lot of hold left (it is best left on the bottom of the chain near the dog clip). The chain wants to kink up in a few spots which can be smoothed out once you've put it on. One small section of chain where the links are raised up slightly.
