Vintage Silver 1960's Kalevala Koru Spiral Bubble Statement Ring
A spectacular vintage sterling silver statement ring with a wide band and a large ball with spirals that has a tall profile. The ball is hollow so it has a nice wearable weight. Inside has many stamps including 925, a crown inside a heart, a crescent, Q7 and KK inside of a circle. KK is the maker mark of Kalevala Koru, a Finnish jewelry designer. I believe this ring was made some time in the 1960's. It's a fabulous piece of midcentury modernist jewelry!
Size 6.25.
The band is .25" wide and the ball sticks up almost an inch tall from the band.
This ring was found at the estate sale of a remarkable vintage jewelry collector in Portland, Oregon.
