Vintage Art Deco Gold Plated Pocket Knife Pendant Necklace Functional Jewelry

This necklace was handmade using a combination of new and vintage materials. It features a vintage Art Deco era gold plated over stainless steel pocket knife pendant. The front and back of the knife both have subtle striping and a blank box design (that was likely intended for the option of engraving an initial). The knife has one blade and one file and is marked Simmons stainless steel. It is on a new long gold-filled chain that is finished with an antiqued brass (over copper) lobster clasp and a brass hexagon loop.

The knife measures 2.25" long and .5" across. The chain is 33.5" long.

Condition: minor scuffs consistent with age. The tip of the blade is chipped ever so slightly. Very light rusting visible on the inside when the file is pulled out.
