 This necklace is part of Serpentine's collection of original jewelry designs which were first lovingly hand carved from wax then cast locally in brass. It features a brass crescent moon charm with carved floral details. The flowers are meant to be little forget-me-nots, a classic in Victorian symbolic jewelry (and a favorite from my childhood). It is on a gold-filled chain and is finished with a gold-filled spring clasp and brass hexagon loop.

The crescent moon represents change, as the moon has multiple lunar phases.

The charm measures just shy of 1" tall and just over .5" across. The chain is 18" long.
