Antique art deco calling card case statement necklace
This statement necklace was handmade using a combination of new and antique materials. It features a large silver plated 1920's Art Deco calling card case on a new long silver chain. The case features a floral border with striping on the front and some subtle initials (it appears to be MJC). Inside it has a single bar which would have been used to keep the cards in place and it has a secure clip lock on the bottom. Inside is marked Brun-Mill Co Made in USA. The chain is finished with an antiqued brass plated (over copper) lobster clasp and a brass hexagon loop.
The calling card case measures 2.25" tall and 1.75" across. The chain is 32" long (can be shortened upon request).
Condition: some minor scuffing on the front and back and plating wear/ patina on the inside.
This calling card case was found at a flea market while treasure hunting on the East Coast.
