Antique edwardian Round Gold Filled Floral Monogrammed Letter M Photo Locket Necklace

This round antique gold filled locket is a true beauty with a raised floral design on the front and a shield which is monogrammed with the letter M. The shield appears to be done in an inlay of real gold. The back has the initials MC. Inside the locket still has a very faint photo inside. I believe it was likely made during the Edwardian period (sometime in the early 1900's). It is on a long new gold-filled chain which is finished with a gold-filled spring clasp and a brass hexagon loop.

The locket measures 1.25" tall and 1.25" across. The chain is 33" long (can be shortened upon request).

Condition: Small dent on the top of the back of the locket, light scratch marks at the top front of the locket (where someone may have tried to pry it open). Some light patina on the inside.
