Antique Gold Filled Floral Vase Locket Necklace

A beautiful large antique gold-filled round locket with a floral vase on the front. The back has an incredibly sweet inscription that reads, "To My Darling Wife Ed." Inside it still has its original photographs of a child and (I presume) Ed himself. I believe the locket is from sometime around the 1920's possibly earlier. It is on a new long gold-filled chain which is finished with a gold-filled spring clasp and a brass hexagon loop.

The locket measures 1.25" tall and 1.25" across. The chain is 33" long (can be shortened upon request).

Condition: The bottom of the locket doesn't hug as tightly to the hinge as it once would have but it is secure and opens and closes as it should

This locket was found at a flea market in Oregon.
